How we started
Founded in late 2024 by Charles Heistand, Twin Valley Controls is a young company with an experienced team and an approach built around solving the increasingly complex material-flow, controls, software and plant-integration challenges facing today’s corrugated manufacturers.
Prior to Twin Valley Controls, Charles was an electrical engineer with a 14-year manufacturing career spanning several industries before he found his niche in corrugated. His experience includes automotive manufacturing, product distribution, custom machine design and construction, and ultimately corrugated manufacturing, where he served as electrical controls engineering manager for a North American corrugated material-handling manufacturer.
Why Choose TVC?
“Sometimes the solution to a corrugated problem comes from outside the corrugated industry,” Heistand says. “If you have only ever worked in corrugated, you may know the industry extremely well, but you may not have been exposed to the technologies or processes being used to solve similar problems elsewhere.”

Our Vision
Our vision is to help shape the future of corrugated manufacturing by making advanced automation, intelligent material handling and connected plant systems more accessible to manufacturers of every size. Twin Valley Controls will continue to bring together innovative technologies, engineering expertise and strategic partnerships with organizations such as Kennedy Technologies Corp., N.E. Engineering and Westfalia to create solutions that connect every stage of the corrugated manufacturing process.
We envision a future where new corrugated plants are designed around automation and connectivity from the ground up, while existing facilities can be transformed through strategic upgrades and integration. By connecting equipment, software, material flow, WIP, storage and production data, Twin Valley Controls aims to help create safer, more efficient and more intelligent plants that are prepared to adapt to the demands of the next generation of corrugated manufacturing.
Our Mission
At Twin Valley Controls, our mission is to help corrugated manufacturers build smarter, more connected and more efficient plants. We combine our experience in automation engineering and plant-floor integration with the complementary technologies and expertise of trusted partners such as Kennedy Technologies Corp., N.E. Engineering and Westfalia to deliver practical solutions that connect equipment, software, material handling and storage into a unified system.
Whether helping transform an existing facility or designing the automation strategy for a new plant from the ground up, our goal is to help our clients create operations that are more efficient, flexible and connected. From production and WIP movement to finished goods storage and shipment, Twin Valley Controls brings together the people, technology and equipment needed to improve visibility, optimize space, reduce downtime and create a scalable foundation for the future of corrugated manufacturing.

Meet Our Strategic Partners
Through strategic partnerships with Kennedy Technologies Corp., N.E. Engineering and Westfalia, Twin Valley Controls can provide corrugated manufacturers with a more complete approach to plant automation. Combining supervisory software and plant-floor integration, automated material handling, conveying and high-density storage, these technologies work together to create connected solutions that move, track and manage corrugated products from production through storage and shipment.
The combined skill sets of these partners provide corrugated manufacturers with the resources to solve some of their biggest challenges:
space, labor, material flow, information and system integration.
